The Diamondbacks put together a six-run fourth inning and they never looked back as they beat the Cubs, 10-5. Justin Upton was 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI, while Paul Goldschmidt was 3-for-5, hitting his 10th homer with three runs scored and two RBI. Ian Kennedy struggled through four-and-one-third innings giving up five runs and 10 hits. Reliever Craig Breslow earned the win. Arizona moved back above .500 at 36-and-35. David DeJesus and Starlin Castro were each 4-for-5 for the Cubs. Paul Maholm was tagged with the loss after giving up seven runs in three-and-one-third innings, but he did hit a two-run shot. Chicago has lost three straight games.
