Josh Willingham singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Twins past the Cubs, 8-7. Justin Morneau tripled in Willingham to tie the game at seven in the bottom of the ninth. Trevor Plouffe and Ryan Doumit both homered for the Twins, who have won five of their last six games. Matt Capps was credited with the win after tossing a scoreless 10th. Alfonso Soriano homered twice and drove in three and Starlin Castro added a two-run blast for the Cubs, who have dropped seven-of-eight. Shawn Camp fell to 2-and-3 with the loss.
