Ryan Dempster carried a perfect game into the sixth inning and tossed seven scoreless innings as the Cubs clobbered the Brewers, 10-0. Dempster struck out three and allowed just three hits to register his first win in 18 starts dating back to last August. Alfonso Soriano smacked a three-run homer in the first, Bryan LaHair added a solo shot in the fourth and Jeff Baker capped off the Cubs' second-highest scoring performance of the season with a three-run shot in the ninth to snap a four-game slide. Yovani Gallardo fanned 10, but allowed five runs in six innings of work to suffer the loss for Milwaukee. The Crew has dropped back-to-back games.
