Braves score 3 runs in the 8th inning and beat the Cubs 4-1

Ronald Acuna Jr. singled in the go-ahead run to spark a three-run eighth inning as the Braves beat the Cubs 4-1 at SunTrust Park.  Tyler Flowers and Johan Camargo each walked with the bases loaded to force home insurance runs for Atlanta, which has won seven-of-nine.  A.J. Minter got the win in relief of starter Brandon McCarthy, who struck out eight over six innings of one-run ball.

Carl Edwards Jr. was charged with all three runs in the eighth while recording just one out to take the loss.  Kris Bryant singled in the Cubs' lone run in the fifth.

Rubber game of the series is tonight in Atlanta.
