Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo has returned to Mesa for spring training after heading back home to Parkland, Florida. Rizzo joined the community in mourning for the school shooting at his high school alma mater.
He spoke with the media yesterday, the first day of full-team workouts. Chicago begins Cactus League play against the Brewers on Friday. The White Sox face the Dodgers the same day.
