C.J. McCollum went off for 50 points, including 28 in the first quarter, as the Blazers lit up the Bulls 124-108 in Portland. McCollum shot 18-of-25 from the field and 6-of-9 from beyond the arc for Portland, which seized control early and never let up. McCollum sat out the entire fourth quarter and most of the second in a career-night. The Blazers won their fourth straight game.
The Bulls were down 43-19 after the first quarter last night.
Zach LaVine scored a team-high 23 points for Chicago, which lost its fifth straight game. Denzel Valentine added 15 off the bench for the 18-and-33 Bulls.
Chicago will be in L.A. against the Clippers on Sunday.
