(Ryan Zimmerman drilled the go-ahead three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Nationals rallied to stun the Cubs, 6-3, in Game Two of their National League Division series in DC. Bryce Harper tied the game earlier in the eighth with a two-run dinger of his own. Anthony Rendon belted a solo shot in the first for Washington. Sean Doolittle pitched a clean ninth inning to earn the save as the Nats tied the series, 1-1.
Cubs starter Jon Lester tossed six innings of one-run ball, but the Chicago bullpen combined to give up four hits, five runs and a walk over two innings. Mike Montgomery took the loss.
Willson Contreras and Anthony Rizzo went deep to provide the offense for the Cubs. Game Three is Monday in Chicago.
