The Rangers rallied from a 4-0 deficit for a 9-8 win over the White Sox in the opener of a four-game set in Texas. Nomar Mazara homered and plated five runs for Texas, which has won four straight to get to 60-and-60. Austin Bibens-Dirkx got the win in relief and Alex Claudio earned his sixth save.
Yoan Moncada homered in the first and Jose Abreu went deep in the ninth for the Sox. Chicago starter Reynaldo Lopez had to leave in the fifth with soreness in his side. Lopez took the loss.
