Jose Quintana made a memorable debut for the Cubs as they shutout the Orioles, 8-0, in Camden Yards. Quintana struck out 12 over seven scoreless innings and gave up just three hits. The Cubs acquired Quintana from the cross-town White Sox on Friday. Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo each clubbed two-run homers for the North Siders, who earned the sweep on the road.
Ubaldo Jimenez allowed 11 hits and six runs over three-and-two-thirds to take the loss for Baltimore. The O's have dropped eight of their past 10 games.
The Cubs continue their road trip Monday night in Atlanta.
