Adam Rosales and Matt Joyce hit back-to-back homers in the ninth for insurance. Sonny Gray tossed seven frames of two-run ball to move his record to 3-and-3. Santiago Casilla notched the save as Oakland completed the three-game sweep.
Adam Engel hit his first career homer and Melky Cabrera also went deep for the Sox in defeat. Chicago has dropped six-of-seven.
