Jose Urena and three relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as the Marlins blanked the Cubs 2-0 in Miami. Urena tossed six innings of five-hit ball to pick up his sixth win. AJ Ramos finished it off for his 11th save. Giancarlo Stanton homered and Christian Yelich added a sac-fly for Miami.
John Lackey surrendered just one earned run over six innings to take the tough-luck loss. The Cubs dropped to 15-and-20 away from Wrigley Field.
