The Rochelle Township High School 1600 relay team ran a school record Saturday at the Girls Class 2A State Track and Field Meet in Charleston which was good for a third place finish.
Running the relay were juniors Jacie Wyatt, Morgan Knight, Cesca Vardman, and Morgan Baker. It is the first time the girls ran under 4:00 for the 1600 relay.
Dunlap High School finished in first place with a time of (3:55.99). Chicago Westinghouse was second at (3:57.78).
LaSalle-Peru High School from the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference came in 6th place with a time of (4:04.69).
