Golf

Andy Wilkinson did not make the cut on Saturday in his first PGA Tournament on the LatinoAmerican Tour.

Wilkinson, who grew up in Rochelle, shot a 73-75 148 total which was 6 over par. The cut was at 2 under par for 36 holes at the Essential Costa Rica Golf Classic. .

Poor weather has been a problem during the past 3 days at the tournament.

Wilkinson was able to play in the PGA event after he shot the low qualifying round last Monday.
