The RTHS boys basketball program held their annual awards event last night as the student athletes received recognition for the hard work and dedication for this past season.

On the varsity level, the Hubs had a record of (20-8).

Several awards were handed out last night. They included:

Frosh-Soph 160 - Jesse Mochica of Rochelle lost both matches

Cons. Round 1 - Jett Dowell (Wheaton North) won by major decision over Jesse Mochica (Rochelle) (Maj 9-1) and

Results from the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) State Championships held at the BMO Harris Center in Rockford this Friday and Saturday.
Ben Harvey of Rochelle finished in 2nd place in the IKWF State Tournament. He moved into the finals by beating Micahael Roath of St. Charles North 1-0 in the Semi Finals on Saturday morning. He lost a close match in the finals 2-0. Harvey had a great State Series run placing 1st at Regional and Sectional and then becoming the 2nd only Senior Finalist for Rochelle. He finishes the season with a 46-3 record and 2nd Place in the state.
