Jonathan Toews logged his fourth career hat trick to lead the Blackhawks to a 5-3 win over the Wild. Toews also had two assists for Chicago, which is five points behind Minnesota for first place in the Central. Nick Schmaltz and Richard Panik also lit the lamp in the win.
Mikael Granlund scored a pair of power-play goals for Minnesota, which had won its previous two. Devan Dubnyk made 34 saves in defeat.
