The Chicago White Sox are continuing their rebuilding project. The ball club has dealt center fielder Adam Eaton to the Washington Nationals in exchange for top pitching prospect Lucas Giolito, right-handers Reynaldo Lopez and Dane Dunning.
Eaton hit .284 with 14 home runs and 14 stolen bases for the Chi-Sox last season.
Giolito went 6-and-5 with a 2.97 ERA in the minors last season, and 0-and-1 in the big leagues.
