Jordan Howard rushed for three touchdowns to help the Bears pound the 49ers, 26-6, at a snowy Soldier Field. Howard rushed for 117 yards and plunged for TD-runs of one, two, and five yards. Leonard Floyd recorded two of Chicago's six sacks and also notched a safety for the Bears. Matt Barkley threw for 192 yards as the Bears ended a three-game skid.
Colin Kaepernick was 1-for-5 for four yards and took five sacks before getting benched for Blaine Gabbert in the fourth quarter. Carlos Hyde rushed for 92 yards and Phil Dawson made a pair of field goals as the Niners lost their 11th straight game.
