Marian Hossa's goal 1:31 into overtime gave the Blackhawks a 4-3 win over the Devils in Chicago. Marcus Kruger, Artem Anisimov and Niklas Hjalmarsson all scored in the second period for the Blackhawks, who improved to 16-6-and-3 with their second straight win. Corey Crawford kicked away 30 shots in the victory.
Travis Zajac scored a goal in each period for New Jersey, which has dropped four in-a-row. Cory Schneider made 29 saves in defeat.
Chicago will be in Philadelphia Saturday night.
