Martin Jones made 33-of-34 saves to help the Sharks clip the Blackhawks 2-1 at the SAP Center. San Jose improved to 11-8-and-1. Logan Couture lit the lamp on the power play and Joel Ward added a shorthanded goal in the winning effort.
Artemi Panarin found the back of the net for Chicago as it lost its second straight contest and fell to 13-6-and-2. Corey Crawford made 33 saves in defeat.
The Blackhawks continue their road trip on Friday at Anaheim.
