Giants beat the Cubs 6-5 in 13 innings

The San Francisco Giants are still alive in the National League Division Series. Joe Panik's drive off the wall scored the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning as the Giants beat the Cubs 6-5 in Game Three at AT&T Park. San Francisco scored three times in the eighth to take a 5-3 lead. Conor Gillaspie's two-run triple put the Giants ahead 4-3 and Brandon Crawford added an RBI single.

Kris Bryant then tied the game for Chicago with a two-run homer in the ninth. Jake Arrieta hit a three-run shot off Madison Bumgarner in the second inning to give the Cubs an early 3-0 lead. Ty Blach got the win and Mike Montgomery took the loss.

Chicago still leads the best of five matchup two-games-to-one, with Game Four tonight at 7:30. Starting pitcher for the Cubs is John Lackey. The Giants will go with Matt Moore.
