Jon Lester did it all as the Cubs clobbered the Reds, 6-1. Lester tossed seven innings of one-run ball to improve to 18-and-4. Lester also smacked an RBI double, walked and scored a run. Anthony Rizzo added two hits and three RBI in the win. Chicago's magic number to clinch home-field advantage throughout the NL playoffs is three.
Jose Peraza laced an RBI triple for the Reds, who will try to avoid a three-game sweep Wednesday. Josh Smith took the loss.
Final game of the series is tonight at Wrigley Field
