Carlos Rodon struck out nine over six innings of two-run ball to pace the White Sox past the Royals, 7-2, at U.S. Cellular Field. Tyler Saladino helped power Chicago's offense with a trio of hits, including a double and a two-run single. Adam Eaton added a pair of doubles and scored twice. The White Sox have won four of five.
Kansas City's Yordano Ventura fell to 10-and-10, allowing four earned runs on ten hits over seven innings. The Royals jumped out to an early lead on Kendrys Morales' two-run single in the first inning.
