Tyler Naquin's pinch-hit sac-fly RBI in the bottom of the ninth pushed the Indians past the White Sox, 5-4, at Progressive Field. Kris Bryant went deep twice to power the Chicago Cubs past the Milwaukee Brewers 9-6 from Wrigley Field. Bryant went 5-for-5 at the plate and drove in five. Jake Arrieta improved to 15-and-5 on the season despite giving up five runs while walking seven batters. Aroldis Chapman shut the door in the ninth for his seventh save for the Cubs, which won for the 18th time in 21 games. Kirk Nieuwenhuis went 2-for-5 with three RBI for Milwaukee. Zach Davies falls to 9-and-6 overall after allowing seven runs on 10 hits in four innings. The Cubs are in Colorado to open a three-game series with the Rockies.
