The Illinois high school football season officially began yesterday.
Schools started to practice for the upcoming season which begins with games on Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th.
Newstalk 1060 and "The Coyote" will be broadcasting a total of 3 games in the opening weekend.
On August 26th, Stillman Valley plays at North Boone as the game can be heard on Newstalk 1060 and wrhl.net. The same night, Forreston travels to AFC to take on the Raiders as all the action can be heard on "The Coyote" and 102thecoyote.com.
On August 27th, the Rochelle Hubs travels to Chicago to take on Corliss High School at Gately Stadium.
The Pre-Game Show begins at noon on Newstalk 1060 and wrhl.net.
The Rochelle Hubs Football Preview Show can also be heard on Newstalk 1060 and wrhl.net on August 20th at 11am.
Practise begins for the remaining fall sports teams at Illinois schools on Wednesday.
