The Cubs earned a split in the four-game Crosstown Classic with a 3-1 win over the White Sox at Wrigley Field. Ben Zobrist had two hits, a run and an RBI for the Cubs. John Lackey tossed six innings of one-run ball to improve to 8-and-7. Aroldis Chapman got the final four outs for his first save as a Cub. Melky Cabrera smacked an RBI double for the Sox. Fresh off his five-day suspension, Chris Sale allowed two runs in six frames to fall to 14-and-4.
