Dexter Fowler returned from the disabled list and cranked a leadoff home run as the Cubs ripped the Brewers, 5-2, at Miller Park. Fowler added a two-run double in the second inning to pace the Cubs. Jason Hammel tossed five-plus innings of two-run ball to get the win.
Ryan Braun homered for the Brewers, who have lost four of their past five games. Jimmy Nelson was tagged with the loss.
