Adam Lind's pinch-hit, three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth gave the Mariners a stunning 4-3 win over the White Sox. Lind's shot capped a four-run ninth against David Robertson, who relieved Chris Sale after the All-Star starter fired eight innings of one-hit ball. David Rollins was credited with the win.
Tim Anderson and Todd Frazier homered for Chicago, which has dropped five straight. Robertson blew his third save chance and suffered his second loss.
Game #2 of the series is tonight with the Pre-Game Show at 8:35 on Newstalk 1060.
