Hector Santiago tossed seven scoreless innings to help the Angels blank the White Sox, 7-0, in Anaheim. The Halos used a five-run seventh to put the game out of reach. Jefry Marte [[ mar-TAY ]] began the frame with an RBI-double while Andrelton Simmonds and Yunel Escobar each single home a run.
Chicago managed only five hits and was shutout for the second straight game. Miguel Gonzalez allowed four runs in six-plus innings to suffer the loss.
