The Cubs begin the second half of the season against the Rangers tomorrow. It's the opener of a three-game set at Wrigley Field. Chicago enters the second half with a seven-game lead on the Cardinals for first place in the NL Central.
Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta took home an ESPY Award last night. Arrieta was named Breakthrough Athlete of the Year during the annual awards show. Arrieta went 22-and-6 en route to winning the NL Cy Young Award last season.
