Miguel Gonzalez tossed seven shutout innings to lead the White Sox to a 5-0 win against the Yankees at U.S. Cellular Field. Gonzalez improved to 2-and-4 as Chicago took two of three from New York. The Sox got four runs in the second inning, capped by a Tim Anderson two-run double.
Michael Pineda was tagged with the loss, giving up all five runs in six innings. Didi Gregorius had three of the Yanks eight hits.
