Tucker Barnhart hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to erase a 3-1 deficit and propel the Reds to a 5-3 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Cincinnati added an insurance run in the eighth on a wild pitch. Zack Cozart also homered for the Reds, who took the final two games of the three-game series. Anthony DeSclafani pitched six innings of three-run ball to move to 3-and-0. Tony Cingrani nailed it down in the ninth for his 10th save.
Trevor Cahill took the loss in relief for Chicago. Ben Zobrist homered for the Cubs, who have lost six of their last seven games.
The Cubs are at home tonight against Atlanta making up a game from April 30th.
