The Yankees pounded out 20 hits on their way to a dominating 9-0 win against the White Sox in the second of three at U.S. Cellular Field. Chase Headley hit a two-run shot and Austin Romine had a solo blast for the 41-and-42 Yanks. Masahiro Tanaka tossed seven-and-two-third shutout innings with six strikeouts to improve to 6-and-2.
Carlos Rodon fell to 2-and-7, giving up 12 hits and five earned runs. Adam Eaton had two of Chicago's six hits. The Sox had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Chris Sale was also selected to the American League All-Star roster. He is the only White Sox player at this time who will play in the game. Sale could be the starting pitcher for the American League next Tuesday night.
