Multiple rain delays couldn't keep the Mets from crushing the Cubs, 10-2 at Citi Field. James Loney fell a triple shy of the cycle, Asdrubal Cabrera homered twice and Brandon Nimmo hit his first big league dinger as the Mets cruised. Jacob deGrom tossed five frames of one-run ball to even his record to 4-and-4. Yoenis Cespedes added a solo shot in the win.
Jason Hammel gave up all 10 runs in four-plus to take the loss for Chicago. Kris Bryant went long in the loss.
