Mike Napoli's three-run homer highlighted a five-run first inning as the Indians jumped all over the White Sox in a 13-2 win at Progressive Field. Juan Uribe and Tyler Naquin also homered for the Tribe. Danny Salazar pitched two-run ball into the seventh inning for his eighth win of the season.
James Shields was rocked for eight runs in less than two innings to fall to 0-and-2 for Chicago. Jose Abreu's two-run homer in the sixth kept the White Sox from being shut out. Chicago has lost five of its last seven.
