Bud Norris pitched seven innings of one-run ball as the Braves downed the Cubs, 5-1, at Turner Field. Adonis Garcia and Tyler Flowers each had solo home runs for Atlanta, which was won two straight after losing six in a row.
Chicago's Dexter Fowler drove in the lone run for the Cubs. Jason Hammel took the loss, allowing three runs in less than six innings. Former Brave Jason Heyward went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in his return to Atlanta. The Cubs have lost three of five.
