Matt Harvey returned to form as he allowed just two hits over seven shutout innings as the Mets blanked the White Sox 1-0 at Citi Field. The right-hander walked one and struck out six to improve to 4-and-7 on the season. Jeurys Familia fanned two in the ninth en route to his 17th save. Neil Walker broke up a scoreless deadlock with a solo home run in the seventh inning for the game's only run. It was his 12th of the year.
Jose Quintana struck out seven over seven innings of six-hit, one-run ball, but fell to 5-and-5 with the loss. Chicago has lost seven straight to fall to 27-and-25.
