Lorenzo Cain homered and doubled in a run for Kansas City, which completed the sweep at home. Edinson Volquez tossed six innings and Chris Young earned the win in relief.
Chris Sale hurled seven innings of two-run ball for Chicago, with Nate Jones blowing the lead and taking the loss. Austin Jackson plated two runs for the Southsiders.
