The Indians cracked Chris Sale in a 6-2 win over the White Sox. Chris Gimenez hit a solo homer and Mike Napoli laced a two-run triple for Cleveland. Josh Tomlin tossed eight innings of two-run ball to improve to 7-and-0. The Indians are a game-and-a-half behind Chicago for first in the AL Central.
Sale allowed all six runs in three-and-a-third innings to fall to 9-and-1. Sale had won his first nine starts. Adam Eaton hit a lead-off homer in defeat.
