Yankees beat the White Sox 7-5

Chase Headley doubled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Yankees topped the White Sox, 7-5, in the rubber match of a three-game set in the Bronx. Brian McCann added a solo homer in the eighth, while Carlos Beltran belted his 400th career home run and drove in three for the Yankees, who finished 7-and-3 on their 10-game homestand. Dellin Betances picked up the win and Aroldis Chapman closed it out for his third save.

Adam Eaton went deep and plated two for Chicago, which went just 2-and-4 on its six-game road trip. Matt Albers took the loss.

The White Sox have the day off today. They begin a 10-game homestand Tuesday night against Houston. The Pre-Game Show can be heard at 6:35 on Newstalk 1060.
