Nick Markakis brought home the go-ahead run on a sac-fly in the top of the 10th to lift the Braves over the Cubs, 4-3, at Wrigley Field. Jason Grilli shut it down in the bottom half to secure the win, which was just the sixth all season for Atlanta. Julio Teheran left the Braves with a three-nothing lead, but took the no-decision despite striking out nine batters in seven scoreless innings.
Chicago sent the game to extras with an RBI-single from Addison Russell in the ninth. Hector Rondon took the loss as the Cubs saw their four-game win streak come to an end.
The Cubs will be in Pittsburgh tonight to begin a 3-game series.
