Jose Quintana allowed just four hits in seven innings of shutout ball to help White Sox rip the Rangers, 5-0, at U.S. Cellular Field. Chicago turned its first triple play in nearly ten years with the bases loaded in the seventh. Melky Cabrera added two hits and scored twice in the win.
Texas was shutout for the first time all season. Martin Perez gave up all five runs in the loss, which snapped a four-game win streak for the Rangers.
