Matt Moore struck out 10 batters in six-and-a-third innings to lead the Rays past the White Sox, 3-2, at the Trop. It was Moore's first win on the season, and second straight for Tampa Bay. Brandon Guyer tied a career-high with four hits in the win.
Avisail Garcia scored a run and knocked one home in a losing effort for Chicago. Starter Jose Quintana allowed all three runs on seven hits in the loss, which dropped the White Sox to 8-and-4.
