Patrick Kane notched the first regular season hat trick of his career as the Blackhawks downed the Maple Leafs, 4-1 at the Air Canada Centre. Kane scored twice in the second period and added his NHL-leading 28th goal of the year. Artemi Panarin scored the other goal and added two assists in Chicago's 10th straight win.
Morgan Reilly scored the lone goal for Toronto in the third. The Leafs lost their fourth straight game.
The Blackhawks will be at the United Center on Sunday night against Montreal.
