Blackhawks win 8th straight game, Bulls lose in Milwaukee

The red-hot Blackhawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held on for the 3-2 win over the Predators. Andrew Shaw scored twice to help Chicago extend its winning streak to eight games. Brent Seabrook also scored and Corey Crawford made 41 saves. Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville tied Al Arbour for second on the all-time wins list with his 782nd victory.He also received a 3-year contract extension yesterday with the club.

Mike Ribeiro and Filip Forsberg had the goals for Nashville, which has dropped four in-a-row. Pekka Rinne stopped 20 shots.

The Blackhawks will be in Montreal on Thursday night.

 

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bucks to a 106-101 win over the Bulls.  Greg Monroe added 17 points and 12 boards in Milwaukee's second win in three games.  Khris Middleton collected 16 points, six rebounds and nine assists. 

Jimmy Butler ended with 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Chicago.  The Bulls have dropped three straight on the heels of a six-game winning streak.
