The Bulls ran their winning streak to six games with a 101-92 victory over the Celtics. Jimmy Butler had 19 points and 10 assists, while Pau Gasol added 17 points and 18 rebounds. Derrick Rose scored 18 in the win. Jae Crowder's 17 points led Boston, which has lost four of five.
Kelly Olynyk had 16 points and nine boards in defeat. The Celtics were without head coach Brad Stevens, who was visiting ailing former Butler player Andrew Smith.
The Bulls will be in Atlanta against the Hawks Saturday afternoon.
