Bulls win 3rd straight game

Jimmy Butler had 23 points and six assists to help the Bulls blow out the Knicks 108-81 at the United Center. Pau Gasol  and Nikola Mirotic  each scored 17 points for Chicago, which has won three games in-a-row.

Derrick Rose sat out for the second straight game due to a hamstring injury.

New York was held to 18 points in the first quarter and mustered just eight in the fourth. Carmelo Anthony posted 20 points and seven boards in the loss, which was the fifth in six games for the Knicks.

The Bulls return to action Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
