Eddie Lack came within 3.6 seconds of a shutout in Carolina's 2-1 win over Chicago. Lack ended with 35 saves. Justin Faulk and Victor Rask had the goals for the Hurricanes in their second straight win.
Brent Seabrook scored in the closing moments to break up the shutout. Corey Crawford stopped 25 shots for the Blackhawks, who have lost their last two.
The Blackhawks will be at Arizona Tuesday night.
