Blackhawks shutout Edmonton 4-0

Teuvo Teravainen  tallied two goals and Corey Crawford made 33 saves as the Blackhawks shut out the Oilers 4-0 at the United Center. Jonathan Toews  got the scoring started in the first period and Artemi Panarin added a goal late in the third for Chicago, which has shut out three of its last four opponents. Patrick Kane added an assist after seeing his 26-game point streak snapped Tuesday.

Edmonton was blanked for the fourth time this season. Cam Talbot allowed all four goals on 37 shots for the Oilers, who lost their second straight game after winning six in-a-row.

The Blackhawks return to action Saturday at Buffalo.
