Former Rochelle resident Andy Wilkinson has had some success recently in golf tournaments as part of the West Florida Tour.
Last month, he tied for 2nd place out of 29 players at the World Woods Pines Barren Series Tournament. Andy shot a 1 under par 70 for the event.
Early this month, Wilkinson placed 4th out of 48 golfers at the Bayou Club Series Tournament. He shot 3 under par for the 36 holes .
Andy also won a team charity event in November when he shot 5 under par 67.
Wilkinson continues to work in the golf operations at Westchase Golf Club along with giving some lessons. He plans to go after his PGA card in the near future.
