Patrick Kane extended his franchise-record point streak to 25 games with a power play goal in the second period to help the Blackhawks shutout the Jets 2-0 at the United Center. Corey Crawford stopped all 25 shots he faced for his 15th career shutout and Jonathan Toews added a goal for Chicago, which has won three of its last four games.
The Jets were shut out for the just the second time this season and fell to 14-14-and-2. Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves and took the loss after winning his first four NHL starts.
The Blackhawks are at home Sunday night against Vancouver.
